The municipality of Uddevalla has signed an agreement with Verisec to do a pilot project in which Freja eID and the feature Organisation eID are used by the municipality’s employees.
Freja eID is based on personal attributes, while Organisation eID is based on attributes linked to the user’s profession or role in an organisation. With Freja eID for private use and the feature Organisation eID, the 7 500 employees will have an e-ID that clearly separates private life from the professional life. The plan is to integrate Freja eID+ to authenticate users in the Microsoft based systems and cloud services. A further goal is to make Freja eID available to students in Uddevalla for secure access to the school’s digital platform.
