About SDK

What is SDK?

SDK is a digital infrastructure, but it does not have a common interface, instead each actor manages the communication based on the infrastructure with their own solution.

There are a number of suppliers who have developed turnkey solutions for the SDK and there is also the option of building a solution on your own around the infrastructure.

How SDK works

Very simplified, you can say that the SDK ensures that communication can take place in a secure, efficient and economical way and can flow between secured senders and secured receivers.

Instead of sending documents to individual recipients, function mailboxes are used and an approved e-identification on LOA3 is required to be part of the flow.

How do you get started?

Until April 1, 2024, Inera is formally responsible for SDK, after which responsibility will pass to Digg. On Digg’s website there is more information on how to get started and join.

Why is eID needed?

There is a security requirement around a LOA3 identity for the SDK and since this is a function that is exclusively aimed at employees, the recommendation is to use a state-approved e-service identification on LOA3, where Freja OrgID meets all regulatory requirements.
