Secure Digital Communication – SDK
With SDK, the public sector’s various actors can communicate securely with each other and send sensitive and classified information.
Until now, a lot of this communication has been via fax, letter and phone calls.
About SDK
How do you get started?
Until April 1, 2024, Inera is formally responsible for SDK, after which responsibility will pass to Digg. On Digg’s website there is more information on how to get started and join.
You can also contact us at Freja and we will help you and can also recommend partners we have agreements with regarding the infrastructure itself.
Why is eID needed?
There is a security requirement around a LOA3 identity for the SDK and since this is a function that is exclusively aimed at employees, the recommendation is to use a state-approved e-service identification on LOA3, where Freja OrgID meets all regulatory requirements.

In February 2024, we had a webinar about SDK together with our partner Meaplus and via this link you can see a recording of the presentations and the question and answer session.
