IT security company Verisec has signed an agreement that staff at one of the country’s largest pharmacy chains will use Freja eID+ as a service ID. Freja eID+ is an important component for employers who must meet the requirements of SAMBI’s framework for trust.
In order to coordinate digitization in health and care, the federal infrastructure solution SAMBI is available, so that staff only needs one log in to access all connected e-services. Freja eID+ complies with SAMBI’s demand for eID on Level of Assurance 3 (LOA3). From spring 2019, this trust level will be required for all healthcare providers that wish to access e-services related to their professional duties, including pharmacies.
The project of creating a service ID solution for the pharmacy chain staff is a collaboration between Curity, Extenda Retail and Verisec.
Johan Henrikson, CEO Verisec comments:
”With Freja eID, we have created a comprehensive solution for electronic identification, and then it is extraordinary rewarding when a modern and successful pharmacy chain sees the benefits of this. At present, Freja eID+ is the only mobile e-ID that is approved for the governmental quality mark Swedish e-ID at trust level LOA3 and thus the only one that can work both as a service ID and for private use.”
