It Started with Malmö Stad
OrgID has been developed together with our customers. The first version was developed in close collaboration with Malmö Stad.
Thanks to their input and clear establishment of needs, we were able to launch a product that addressed multiple real problems – and as it turned out, proved to be a solution for many others as well.
Malmö also became the first OrgID customer.
Continued Customer-Oriented Development
In addition to the City of Malmö, Lund University and Uddevalla Municipality were some of the first customers of OrgID. Together, we identified a number of areas that OrgID could solve – not least the challenge of shared devices.
In this webinar – at about 19 minutes – representatives of the City of Malmö, Lund University and Uddevalla Municipality tell how they use OrgID.
More Discover OrgID
More and more customers began to sign agreements for OrgID e.g. the city of Lidingö and the University of Gothenburg. They faced and wanted to solve the face issues as our previous customers.
In this webinar arranged by Inera, SML-IT, a joint organisation for Sotenäs, Munkedal and Lysekil, talks about how they work with OrgID and shared devices.

Innovation Births Ideas
Since OrgID functions as a platform for identification, our customers are constantly discovering ways to leverage this fact.
In this article from Voister, you can read how Högsby Municipality initially chose Freja to reduce administration and costs, but then discovered completely new possibilities such as opening doors in different access systems.
From the Public to the Private Sector
After about thirty customers mainly mainly municipalities and universities joined, private companies also began to open their eyes to OrgID. The first major private player to get OrgID was the auditing and consulting company KPMG.
