Power Companies Need their Customers to Have E-identification
In accordance with new regulations from the EU and the Swedish Energy Market Inspectorate (EI), suppliers must authenticate all customers with an approved e-identification.
The regulations also apply to the authentication of foreign end customers.

Why the New Regulations?
The new regulations on strong authentication are being introduced to strengthen security in Sweden’s critical infrastructure. The regulations require users to be identified at least at LOA2, but preferably at LOA3.
Digg – the Agency for Digital Government is the authority that approves e-identifications at different LOA levels.
Only Freja Meets the Requirements
Freja is the only e-identification that meets the regulatory requirements set by EI.
Freja is approved at LOA3 for users from a total of 167 countries, including Sweden.

A Trusted E-Identification
Freja is the only e-identification in Sweden that is government-approved for both Swedish and foreign users.
Freja is used in thousands of public and private e-services in Sweden. It is also EU-approved for foreign e-services within the EU/EEA.
