The IT security company Verisec has through agreement integrated its internationally scalable e-identification service Freja eID into Pagero’s payment platform, which enables secure e-signatures of payment files to the bank.

The integration is part of Pagero’s payment services for file transfer that help companies manage their payment files easily and efficiently. With Freja eID, Pagero’s customers get access to a global two-factor signature solution for payment files and payment instructions to the bank. Pagero’s customers do not need to connect to their bank online, instead the customers are able to sign and send all files directly to the clearing house and/or the company’s bank via our cloud-based platform Pagero Online. Locally the integration also means more secure identification and electronic signatures on a higher security level.

Christian Andersson, Product Owner Pagero Financial Services comments:
“We are really pleased with our partnership with Freja eID. The implementation allows us to safely and efficiently help our customers sign files electronically, regardless of nationality. Having a global solution in place is a natural step to take as the Pagero Network reach is growing.”

Johan Henrikson, CEO Verisec comments:
“We are, of course, very pleased to be able to give Pagero’s customers access to a global two-factor solution for e-signatures with Freja eID. The demand for flexible solutions for electronic signatures is very large and an obvious area of use for Freja eID.”
